The LG G5 is one of the most highly anticipated smartphones of 2016. With its unique modular body, and different types of modular “friends,” which can be used to add on different functionalities to the device. We gathered that LG might be releasing a “Lite” version of the G5 some region (Latin America and probably China as well)
The rumours behind this release is that the LG G5 Lite will be better suited to smartphone market in these two parts of the world. They will also be equipped to function better on the present networks. It seems that the device name LGH848 is going through the process at the Chinese certification center TENAA.
The difference of the so-called LG G5 Lite device bs the bigger brother G5 - it has a somewhat less powerful processor, as it comes with Snapdragon 652 vs G5 on the Snapdragon 820. It runs 3GB RAM instead of 4. The GPU is the Adreno 510 instead of the 530. Beyond that, the Lite still looks a lot like the LG G5 with the same size screen, dual 16MP and 8MP rear-mounted camera system and also the same 32GB of internal storage. The LG G5 Lite will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
We do not have news of the G5 Lite arrival date yet. Please hang on to our blog site to get more updates on this new “Lite”
